Nous avons parcouru le vaste domaine sur un circuit de  4 km et avons observé les différentes méthodes  de cohabitation de  arbres et cultures  sur ler thème de  l'agrofrestry -   Mr Johnson ,le chercheur agronome anglophone qui  nous guidait nous a expliqué comment les  arbres  pouvaient  influer sur les cultures : azote , ombre  , eau , évaporation ;mais également  comment les plantes  influençaient la  croissance des arbres ,  la ramification des racines  par exemple 
 
   Nous avons pu constater  comment la croissance des arbres est  plus rapide dans certain contextes de   cultures  complémentaires
 Bien sur l’aspect  sanitaire avec la réduction des  insecticides et autre  produits chimiques peut être un enjeu  d’autant plus que le domaine de Restincliere  abrite aussi  des ruchers école..

Report Agro-Forestry
Last Tuesday, we went to the « Domaine of Restinclière ».
First the teacher told us that we must find a place to eat our picnic. So, together we ate and laughed much.
After, the English guide arrived. He is a scientist and he taught us about the Biology and the environment (photosynthesis, climate…).
Well, then we started to walk around the castle and the field. The teacher informed us about agriculture and agronomy.
The day was very hot and everybody was thirsty! So, the teachers decided to let us go to the river to make a stop.

On June ,the fifth, we went to « domaine de Restinclière ».
Mr. Johnson talked about agroforestry. He explained to us what photosynthesis is , it’s use light for making something (sugar) and for a better photosynthesis we need sun but not too much.
He explained to biology, which means the science of the life, Bio (life) and logy of logos (study).
You know that climate encompasses the weather (wind, sunny, snow, and storm) and temperature (hot, warm, cool, and cold)!
Then, Trees can be used for shade, making paper and nitrogen (N), stop irrigation and blocking wind.
Finally, farming and forestry need: nitrogen, water, shade and sun.

During our visit to “Domaine de Resrtinclière”, the agronomer began to explain many definitions, like photosynthesis.
Then we started to walk, and after he showed us different trees and farming techniques:
After, he explained the reason why farmers in developing countries need to study agriculture and stop cutting down forests. Luckily, a new study is on the way.  In Kenya, the world agro-forestry center led the study.
          According to one expert, the most important thing is to find the right tree for the right place, for the right use.
Then, he told us that many trees act as natural fertilizers. Some scientists, with this fact, can double or triple the production.
 Carbon dioxide, a gas linked to climate change, is captured by trees.
Finally, we arrived, the river “Le Lez” where we splashed each other before returning to the bus.
